Nullity Ministers are a vital part of the life of the parishes of the Diocese of Phoenix. These ministers are trained by the Tribunal to be present to those desiring to petition for an annulment. Through a four day class, Nullity Ministers gain important information in order to serve those who have obtained a civil divorce and are interested in petitioning for an annulment.
Training for New Nullity Ministers
Our next in-person Nullity Minister Training will be in May 2025, at the Diocesan Pastoral Center. It will also be available online live or recorded for those not able to attend. New Nullity Ministers must complete all four sessions in order to be certified as an active Nullity Minister. Registration will be made available in March of 2025.
Online Training
If a parish is in need of a certified Nullity Minister before May, there is the option of listening to a previously recorded training. The registration form for the online training is found here.
PLEASE NOTE: New Nullity Minister Trainees must be approved by their Pastor.
